Ayşe Odabaş is a R&D chemist with experience in organic, materials and polymer chemistry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education from Marmara University and completed her Master’s degree in Chemistry at Istanbul Technical University, where she worked on anion recognition-based supramolecular gels and physically cross-linked polymers. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Technology at the same institution.
She has worked at Ignis Nanotech, contributing to TÜBİTAK-supported projects and the development of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and other materials for gas storage and nicotine adsorption. Her current research focuses on cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) modification and the development of environmentally friendly polymer materials.
Ayşe aims to advance sustainable approaches in polymer chemistry and contribute to the design of greener and more functional materials.
