She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in textile engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2022 and 2025, respectively. She worked on a project for Beko during her master's program, which she eventually turned into her thesis. For her effort, she was awarded a scholarship from the TUBITAK 2210-D program. She wrote a conference paper and a research article during the project, and her areas of expertise were textile quality testing and Minitab statistical analysis. She is currently doing a PhD at the ITU Textile Engineering department, where she is studying the application of CNC, PLA, and PBAT polymers in food packaging as well as the usage of conductive thermoplastics in nanocomposites at the SGPL.
