Yavuz Akdevelioğlu, MSc

Yavuz Akdevelioğlu is a PhD student in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Doctorate Programme at Istanbul Technical University. He accomplished his undergraduate studies in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University in 2021 and his MSc as Materials Science and Engineering at the same university in 2022. He has been working on the effect of Joncryl reactivity with various polylactide. He is also involved in the TUBITAK-DFG collaboration project of SGPL group as a bursary student with University of Bayreuth and has been focusing on the rheological and bead foaming behaviors of recycled PET/PBT with reactive extrusion using various chain modification agents.

His research interests include biopolymers, recycled polymers and polymer foams. He is also curious about polymer sustainability and, material simulations focused on polymeric materials.
